My WordPerfect x7 is now installed on my laptop getting it accomplished was as simple as a, b, c. Thanks for the information it's a reminder that I should register a couple new programs and my laptop, too. Meanwhile, it's working fine on my desktop, which is also Windows 10.
Well, actually there would be no mention of Windows 10 since WP圆 is supposedly incompatible. I've sent the Corel person a criticism and haven't heard back. I started to follow those instructions, but I become confused by all of the conditions. Thank you so much for your patience and have a wonderful day. Researching solution suggestions (download "C++ redistributable packages Visual Studio 2013), I read that WP圆 is not compatible with Windows 10. "this application failed to start because side-by-side-configuration is incorrect" My new laptop arrived with Windows 10 on it. I had no problem installing WP圆 on it, and I've been using it ever since. I suspect, but don't know for certain, that the OS was 8.1 at the time that I installed WP圆 from my disk. My one year old desktop had 8.1 and I upgraded to 10.
